How the germ-free door handle covers work

Many infectious diseases are transmitted via contact and smear infections. Door handles are one of the most frequently touched surfaces in buildings. Neither disinfecting door handles nor constant hand washing lead to permanent germ-free conditions. This is where our germ-free TOUCHME door handle covers offer the ideal solution for permanent disinfection.

The active ingredient incorporated into the covers - RUCO ® BAC AGP* eliminates bacteria, fungi and viruses (incl. coronaviruses) based on silver chloride* by preventing the growth and spread of germs. The cover practically disinfects itself continuously. The antibacterial and antiviral effects are confirmed by tests according to DIN EN ISO 20743 and DIN EN ISO 18184. The antimicrobial effect is maintained for the entire lifespan. In addition, the active ingredient RUCO ® BAC AGP is certified, among others, according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. The door handle covers are elastic, durable, tear-resistant, dirt-repellent and colorfast. In addition, the fabric is washable up to 40° C, should it get dirty.
